Project 1: Conversion of Barges into Floating Desalination Plants

Objective: Navispec Marine Services was entrusted with the challenging task of modifying two 10,000 DWT barges under ABS and three 12,000 DWT barges under DNV into cutting-edge floating offshore desalination plants capable of producing respectively 25,000 m³/Day and 50,000 m³/Day of freshwater per day for Saudi Arabia.

Our Role: Our dedicated team of marine engineers and project managers oversaw and coordinated every aspect of the project, from feasibility study and sourcing suitable barges to procurement of materials and technical management, ensuring compliance with rigorous ABS and DNV standards. We achieved the coveted ABS and DNV certification for the floating desalination plants.

Challenges Overcome:

Project 2: Modification of Supply Vessels into Well Stimulation Vessels

Objective: We specialize in transforming supply vessels into highly efficient well stimulation vessels, equipped to meet the unique demands of the offshore oil industry.

Our Role: Our comprehensive approach includes design and engineering, equipment integration, safety compliance, and operational training. We ensure the vessels meet or exceed industry safety standards.
